Pastor Aubrey Williams

Pastor Aubrey (Bill) Williams was born September 29, 1957 in a small town of Black River, St Elizabeth, Jamaica W.I. His parents moved to England in 1960/61 (mother/father) respectively and settled in Manchester- a very large industrial city in the North of England.

Aubrey joined his parents in January 1969 and settled in school where he advanced his studies in the areas of Chemistry and Theology at Manchester Polytechnic and Manchester University respectively. He takes great pride in saying he did his Theological study at the same school his uncle had studied some 30 plus years earlier. (His uncle was one of the leaders in the Church of England – Jamaican Diocese, Dr. R.O. Braham). Along with his younger brother, (Now President of the British Conference of the COG7D – Elroy Williams) Aubrey excelled in his studies and received a Certificate in Ecumenical Religious studies, from Manchester University.

In 1989 Aubrey and his wife Janet and two daughters (Janine and Emma) immigrated to Canada and settled in the local church (Hamilton COG7D-now Access Community), before coming to Lakeshore COG7D – now known as Etobicoke Church -ECOG7D. He was ordained a lay pastor in 1999- by Pastor Desouza. Also present at the ceremony was Pastor Holland, Pastor Whaid Rose (President of COG7D), Byron Roye (now deceased) and Ken Dilly, along with many well-wishers, including his parents who had made the trip from the UK – to witness the occasion.

“Pastor Williams faithfully serves as the Senior Pastor of Etobicoke Church of God (Seventh Day) and is a proud grandfather of 3 beautiful grandchildren. Anyone who knows Pastor Williams will quickly confirm that he loves the Lord and loves being in church.”

The newly ordained Pastor Williams returned to his studies and received his ministerial License after completing the necessary requirements at Lifespring School of Ministry (a department of the Cog7D).

Today he faithfully serves as the Senior Pastor of Etobicoke Church of God (Seventh Day) and is a proud grandfather of 3 beautiful children. Anyone who knows Pastor Williams will quickly confirm that he loves the Lord and loves being in church. He plays the organ/piano and takes great pleasure in passing on tips to the youngsters wishing to play. He and his two boys (Daniel and Darnell Johnson) really know how to get everyone rocking along with Delroy Johnson strumming his guitar!!!

Pastor Williams is very serious about his Christianity and the leadership of the church. Although he is a lot of fun and likes to display his great sense of humour every chance he gets (especially during his sermons) his true passion is to see folks of all ages come into a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
He was baptized over 40 years ago – by Elder Reid, now deceased – but he feels like every day, is the start of a new journey.

Pastor Leeroy Williams

Pastor Leeroy Williams was born in 1950 in the District of Lucky Hill, St. Mary, Jamaica W.I. He is the second of three children, born to parents Melbourne and Eulalee Williams. His Father was a Baptist Minister, who sadly passed away at the young age of 32, leaving behind a wife and three sons.

Following the death of his father, Leeroy’s maternal grandfather invited his mom to stay with him at Warwick Castle, a neighboring community in St. Mary. At the age of 16yrs and 18 yrs respectively, Leeroy and Lloyd gave their lives to the Lord. As his faith grew in the lord, so did his service as he served in various departments.

He relocated to Kingston, in order to serve in the conference headquarters. This is where
he met and married his wife, Lena. Their union would later produce three children, two boys and one girl, (Dwayne, Rodger and Karen). Leeroy’s dedication to the ministry saw him again moving to Clarendon, Jamaica where he served in the church at Water Lane and later became a deacon in charge.

Leeroy migrated in 1991 to join his wife, who was living in Florida. They settled in Miami, where they continued their christian journey. He served the church in the capacity of Deacon until 1994. He was appointed youth pastor to assist in the church at Port Charlotte and acted as an assistant pastor to the church in Belle Glade. He was also President of the South Florida Joint Youth Fellowship.

In 1995 Leeroy attended Mount Angus Elementary school. He was fascinated with fixing motor vehicle, so he trained to become an auto technician. Even though he was very good at fixing vehicles, he did not feel fully accomplished, resulting in his enrollment in college to become a teacher.

Even though he had a fulfilling career as a teacher, he felt something was missing and this resulted in his enrollment in the Faith Theological Seminary in Tampa Florida where he obtained a diploma in Pastoral Studies. He also studied at M.T.S, Life Spring and Aitios Christian College. He credited his mom for raising him and his elder brother (Lloyd) in the ways of the Lord and for teaching them about the Sabbath.

In 1997, He was ordained as a pastor. Leeroy and his family migrated to Toronto, Canada in 2002 and became members of the Church Of God (Seventh Day) – Scarborough. While in Scarborough, he served as Chairman of the Board.

In 2013, he was appointed Superintendent for the Eastern Canada District where he served for 9 years. He enjoys fellowshipping at the Etobicoke Church of God 7th Day, as well as spending time with his wife, children and seven grandchildren.
